Dan Puric despre Coloana Infinitului .//

.

Richard Wilson .//

.

Sculptor Richard Wilson spent £450,000 ($887,490) from the the Liverpool Culture Company and Liverpool Biennial , for this radical intervention into architecture to date. He turned a building in Liverpool’s city centre literally inside out. This uber-expensive piece of art was constructed at the former Yates's Wine Lodge building, and a massive oval shaped section of the building's exterior now rotates around and gives onlookers a glimpse of the interior without ever stepping foot inside.

SquidLondon launched a new concept , a water-reactive umbrella that uses hydrochromic inks that change the white part of the umbrella to color when wet. It works the same way as similar existing materials that react to heat or UV light, but instead, this ink changes color in contact with water.

Lilly's Chanel Matroyshka Purse .//

.

You all know this is not one of those xoxo gossip blogs about teen idols (although iheartlilly) but I find Lilly Allen's newest accessory brilliant. It seems it's from Chanel’s Pre Fall Collection entitled “Paris to Moscow.” Karl Lagerfeld incorporated the doll into some of the collection’s accessories and it is estimated to cost around £2,500($3,700 U.S dollars).

The Singing, Ringing Tree Sculpture

This musical sculpture, by architects Tonkin-Liu overlooks the town of Burnley . It is made of galvanised steel and produces a low eerie hum audible only at close range as the wind blows around it. The Singing Ringing Tree is part of the Panopticons arts and regeneration project across East Lancashire. Seen in the background is Pendle Hill, famous for the Pendle Witches. Maybe in the sculpture, the myth lives on.

This is a CT scan of a McDonald's Big Mac sandwich. Note the sesame seed bun, pickles, special sauce, and cheese all readily visualized within the box. Interestingly, spots of glue can be seen holding the tabs of the packaging.

Radiology Art is a project that scans almost anything, from Barbie to a teddy bear to a Hamburger.
